Lindsay Oades PhD is an internationally acclaimed wellbeing public policy strategist, author, researcher and academic.
As Director and Professor at the Centre for Wellbeing Science at The University of Melbourne, he leads a growing and dynamic team of researchers and educators who promote and investigate how people learn to improve wellbeing in education, health, organisations and communities.
He is also a non-executive Director of Action for Happiness Australia and the Positive Education Schools Association. He is a former co-editor of the International Journal of Wellbeing.
One of Lindsay’s significant contributions has been in wellbeing and mental health recovery. He developed a positive psychology coaching model – the Collaborative Recovery Model – used to assist people with mental illness. He is the author of five books, and over 150 journal articles and book chapters.
