HOSTED BY SUE LANGLEY
“In Conversation” with Dr Denise Quinlan
Denise is Director of the NZ Institute of Wellbeing and Resilience and has lectured on strengths and positive psychology around the world.
As the only trainer from Australia/New Zealand selected to deliver the University of Pennsylvania’s groundbreaking Penn Resiliency Programme, she has worked alongside Professor Martin Seligman and Dr Karen Reivich, training educators in wellbeing and resilience at leading schools in Australia and the UK (Geelong Grammar School, St Peter’s Adelaide and Wellington College).
I have been privileged to work with Denise for many years, who, in partnership with NZIWR, facilitates our Langley Group Institute Diploma of Positive Psychology and Wellbeing in New Zealand.
Many of you asked for Denise to return, so you know any conversation with Denise is welcome. Looking forward to discussing wellbeing boundaries and self-compassion with our learning community. Denise’s work in this area focuses on the fact that we may need to prioritise tasks that we a) value as important and b) that we can control.
