HOSTED BY SUE LANGLEY
“In Conversation” with Dr Alex Linley
Dr Alex Linley is globally recognised as an expert in strengths.
Originally as an academic, Alex was Visiting Professor in Psychology at the University of Leicester, at Bucks New University, and has a PhD in Psychology from the University of Warwick.
As the founder of Cappfinity in the UK, his aim was ‘strengthening the world’ with a focus on leveraging expertise to apply strengths psychology to organisational development and people practices.
The author of Average to A+ and the creator of the Strengths Profile, the leading strengths assessment right now, Alex has changed the face of recruitment and development across many organisations.
I first met Alex at the launch of the Strengths Profile (then called the Realise2) in Warwick back in 2009 at the first UK Positive Psychology conference. It has been an honour to partner closely with Cappfinity ever since. The last time Alex and I met was for a most enjoyable lunch and conversation at the Soho Hotel in London, and I am looking forward to repeating that once travel is allowed again.
Those of us who resonate with Alex’s quote “Using your strengths is the smallest thing you can do to make the biggest difference” will enjoy this hour.
